ELINA LAUTAMÄKI (AT/FI) is a freelance artist based in Vienna. Originally from Finland, she studied pop and jazz vocals as well as music education in Jyväskylä. In 2015, she completed her Master’s degree in Music and Movement Education at the University of Music and Performing Arts Vienna. She is a self-taught dancer and has studied with Andrea Nagl and Matan Levkowich (among others).

Since 2016, Elina has been active as a musician, dancer, and performer, working with various collectives and across diverse spaces in Vienna. Her collaborations include projects with Arne Mannott, Doris Uhlich, and Jan Machacek, as well as work in children’s and youth theatre with schallundrauch agency and theater.nuu.

Her first independent production, what a wonderful waste of time (2023), focused on the figure of the fool. Elina’s artistic work often explores sociological themes and is shaped by the dynamic interplay between performers and audience.
